5.6 SPI 2 Use tools of social science inquiry such as surveys, statistics, maps, and documents.
I will incorporate Social Studies into my activities throught discussion about many inventions such as the telescope and space shuttle to discuss how inventions contribute to the U.S discoveries and success. I will also use Social Studies to teach of the history of the first space flight and discoveries.

Language Arts: Bailey

I will incorporate language arts into my activities through creative writing. I will have students draw their own constellations, and then, write a short story about what their constellation is and what it means.I can have them use appropriate vocabulary for science, and make sure they use appropriate spelling, mechanics, and English usage in their writings.
